About Me

Cassidy’s roots in The Woodlands date back to the 1980s when he accompanied his then-girlfriend Jill to her McCullough High School prom. They have been together since.

“I am fortunate to have been married to my best friend Jill Cassidy for 25 years,” he said.

“We have lived, worked, played, prayed and been blessed to raise our children, Hailey and Hannah, in The Woodlands for the past nine years. As a family, we have enjoyed the pools, parks, and trails and participating in the many organized athletic events that make The Woodlands a great place to live.”

David Cassidy was born in Houston and has lived in the area his entire life. He received his business degree from Sam Houston State University and his master’s degree in science from Texas Woman’s University.

Cassidy previously lived in the Houston Heights, where he was on the Heights Association Board of Trustees. He was active in their reforestation effort, personally planting over 200 trees, chaired the education committee promoting teacher classroom grants, in charge of security for the Heights festival and parade, and served as program director for monthly public meetings. Professionally, David was a manager in the service industry for seven years, has been a physical therapist for eighteen years and has been involved in real estate for 15 years. In his free time, David loves to travel with his family to the Rocky Mountains and volunteer at Congregation Beth Shalom in The Woodlands, where his wife serves on the Board of Trustees.

David is ready to roll up his sleeves, sharpen his pencil and be your representative for a better Woodlands.
